thank you for your interest in our services!

We’re committed to being fully transparent about our pricing and policies so you always know what to expect. We kindly ask that all clients review this information before booking to avoid any confusion or unexpected charges.

All clients are required to use the Scout for Pet Parents app, as we do not accept cash payments—except for tipping your sitter, which is always appreciated. You’ll find a detailed breakdown of our fees and policies at the bottom of this page.

It is the client’s responsibility to review our pricing and cancellation policies prior to scheduling services. Fees for late cancellations or short-notice bookings (less than 24 hours) will only be waived in the case of emergencies. We also recommend reading through the Scout service agreement during setup to ensure everything is clear from the start.

Please note: We do not provide 24-hour care.
While we’d love to offer round-the-clock service, our team members also care for other clients and have personal and professional responsibilities. Some also work other jobs, which makes 24/7 coverage unavailable. That said, we’re happy to help build a schedule that works—such as a mix of drop-in visits and overnight stays—to ensure your pets are well cared for.

Thank you so much for your understanding, and for trusting us to care for your furry family members!

Summer Safety Notice

At Paws & Claws Pet Services Florida, your pet’s safety is always our top priority.

During the summer months, Florida temperatures and pavement surfaces can become dangerously hot, especially during peak heat hours (typically between 10 AM – 4 PM). Hot pavement can burn paw pads in seconds, and extreme heat and humidity can quickly lead to overheating or heat exhaustion.

For your pet’s safety, we reserve the right to modify or refuse full walks during periods of extreme heat, high UV levels, or unsafe weather conditions.

If conditions are not safe for a full walk, we will instead provide one of the following:

  • A quick potty break outside

  • Our Leash Walk Policy for necessary outdoor potty breaks only

  • Indoor enrichment, playtime, and attention to help burn energy safely

We ask for your understanding that safety will always come before completing a full walk.

If we determine that weather conditions make walking unsafe and a full walk cannot be completed, walk-related charges will be removed accordingly.

Our goal is to keep every pet happy, comfortable, and most importantly, safe.
